Step 1:

  • To initiate the registration process for your product, you must complete the provided warranty registration form.

  • Within this form, it is required that you furnish essential details, including your name, email address, product name, and date of purchase.

  • Properly registering your product helps establish a direct connection between you and the Amcrest support team, facilitating efficient communication and assistance throughout the warranty period.

Step 2:

  • In order to request a replacement / refund, you have to submit a RMA request form.

  • Ensure that you complete all fields on the form accurately. You are required to submit an image or PDF file of your proof of purchase, which must include the original purchase date, product details, model, and seller information.

  • Allow 48 to 72 hours for a return authorization to be issued by the customer service representatives. 

  • Amcrest will offer a Prepaid Return Label for DOA Warrantied Replacements and Defective Item Refunds. All domestic U. S. RMA Repairs are shipped by the USPS Priority Mail System, the Fedex Ground System, or the UPS Ground System (3-7 days).

  • Customers living outside the Continental USA need to arrange for the return of the item using a traceable shipping method (such as UPS, FedEx, DHL, etc.).

Step 3:

  • For orders exceeding 30 days, the replacement unit provided will be a thoroughly tested, manufacturer-refurbished item. The receiving department conducts inspections on all returned items to confirm the receipt of accurate products.

  • Upon delivery of the package, the replacement/refund will be received within 3-7 business days. 

  • You will be notified of the refund via email. It may take up to 2-5 business days for the refund to be processed and sent to the credit card processor.

  • It is important to note that any returns that do not meet the specified return criteria may incur additional fees. All returns must be authorized by the RMA  department. Non-approval of a return may result in the loss of packages.

  • During the warranty process, Amcrest may offer you one of the following solutions: a warranty replacement or warranty service. The warranty period is usually 1 year or 3 years.

Amcrest Warranty Period:

  • Amcrest products come with a 1 year product warranty starting from the date of purchase. If the product is found to be defective, a replacement unit will be provided within this one-year warranty period. Replacement shipping costs are not included unless the product is DOA (within 30 days after original purchase date).

  • Amcrest IP cameras are covered by a 1 year warranty,

  • Amcrest NVRs are covered by a 3 year warranty.

What is covered under the Amcrest Warranty?

The Amcrest warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. This means that if your Amcrest product breaks down due to a defect, Amcrest will repair or replace it free of charge. The warranty period for Amcrest products varies depending on the product.

What is NOT covered under the Amcrest Warranty?

Normal wear, abrasions, mishandling, alteration, misuse, abuse, or disassembly of the product; Handling, storage, and installation; Fluctuations, extreme weather conditions; power outages or electrical incidents; or any other damage due to the unintentional use of the product. Amcrest is not responsible for any third party expenses incurred as a result of a replacement, such as installation fees, additional shipping fees, custom fees, VAT, etc. The warranty period for the purchase does not extend beyond the original date of purchase, and replacement requests are processed based on product availability. In most cases, a replacement will be refurbished by the manufacturer. The RMA team has the right to accept or reject replacement requests.
