Step 1:

  • The first and foremost step is registering the warranty to activate it. Through registration, Alto-Shaam sends you notifications about software updates and additional product information.

  • The first step in the form is to fill out the serial number. Following that, you need to provide the installation date, personal information, and street address. Leaving space between each serial number is enough to accommodate multiple serial numbers.

Step 2:

  • Products returned more than 90 days after the original shipment date will not be accepted. Special or custom-built equipment or parts cannot be returned.

  • Prior written authorization is required to initiate a return. Alto-Shaam reserves the right to refuse products without written authorization.

Step 3:

  • This warranty is the sole warranty and replaces all other warranties, whether expressed or implied, including those of merchantability and fitness for a specific purpose.

  • The customer support team offers you a phone or fax option to get in touch with them. A 24-hour time period will be taken by them to get back to you following the completion of the form.

What is covered under the Alto-Shaam Warranty?

Alto-Shaam, Inc. assures the original purchaser that any original part exhibiting defects in material or workmanship will be replaced with a new or rebuilt part, at the discretion of Alto-Shaam. This warranty is applicable only to the original purchaser.

What is NOT covered under the Alto-Shaam Warranty?

The warranty does not cover calibration or the replacement of certain components such as light bulbs, rubber gaskets, grease filters, air filters, racks, jet plates, and glass damaged due to any cause. It also excludes damage resulting from accidents, shipping, improper installation, or alteration of the equipment. Additionally, equipment damage caused by misuse, abuse, negligence, or exposure to harsh chemicals, such as those containing chloride or quaternary salts, is not covered. The warranty does not extend to damage resulting from the use of cleaning agents not recommended by Alto-Shaam, including chlorine or other harmful chemicals. Losses or damage resulting from equipment malfunction, including loss of food products or revenue, are not covered, nor are any consequential or incidental damages. Modifications to the equipment, use of unauthorized parts, removal or addition of parts without authorization, and damage due to poor water quality or inadequate maintenance of steam generators are also excluded from warranty coverage. The owner/operator is responsible for ensuring proper water quality and maintenance of steam-generating equipment, failure to adhere to required maintenance schedules outlined in the equipment manuals may result in equipment damage not covered by the warranty.
