To begin a formal evaluation of your footwear, return the items to the original place of purchase or any official Red Wing Shoes retail store. You must present your original, dated receipt to confirm eligibility for a return, exchange, or technical review.
If the fit is not comfortable, the brand may offer an exchange or refund under its comfort guarantee, subject to store policy. After this stage, the product may be reviewed under the standard protection guidelines for manufacturing issues.
Please note that the comfort guarantee is limited to one return per purchase and does not apply to select product lines such as Heritage, Irish Setter, Vasque, and WORX. Store staff will carry out an initial inspection to determine if the issue qualifies for further action.
Confirm where the boots were purchased and ensure they have been used under normal conditions. Damage caused by excessive wear or misuse does not qualify for exchange or credit.
A valid proof of purchase is required for any evaluation. The policy applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. Working with your local retailer can help streamline the process, as some minor services may be handled directly in-store.
If you need clarification on policy limitations, it is best to review the official guidelines, as all claims must meet the brand’s workmanship and materials standards.
Once the inspection is complete, the store or technical team will determine if the issue is due to a manufacturing defect. If approved, the boots may be repaired or exchanged based on the condition and availability.
The brand does not cover incidental or consequential damages. If no defect is found, the product will be returned without changes.
In cases where repairs are completed, they are handled by skilled technicians to restore the product to factory standards. If an exchange is provided, it will follow the standard policy terms applicable at the time of replacement.
