Step 2:

  • Log into the official consumer support portal to submit a detailed description of the reported issue along with high-resolution photos, allowing the technical specialists to perform an initial remote evaluation to determine if the hardware requires a physical inspection.

  • Double-check that your helmet was originally designed and certified for the North American market, as service centers typically only provide support for models built for their designated territory to ensure they meet local safety standards like DOT or Snell.

  • Perform a basic inspection of the removable interior parts and visor mechanisms to rule out issues caused by normal wear or improper maintenance, which are diagnostic steps to help clarify the nature of the hardware defect.

Step 3:

  • Obtain a specific Return Authorization once your technical details have been reviewed, as you must have this authorization before sending your helmet to the service center to ensure it is properly tracked and routed to the correct technician.

  • Follow the detailed packaging instructions provided during the authorization process, ensuring that you ship the helmet in a sturdy box with adequate padding to prevent any cosmetic damage to the shell during its transit to the workshop.

  • Coordinate with the support team for the final resolution, where the workshop will, at its discretion, repair or replace any part found to be defective in materials or workmanship to ensure your helmet is restored to factory specifications.

  • Shell and EPS Integrity: Protection against manufacturing defects in the Carbon Fiber, HPFC (High Performance Fiberglass Composite), or KPA (Kinetic Polymer Alloy) outer shell and the impact-absorbing EPS liner.
  • Component Workmanship: Coverage for factory-related failures in the ventilation sliders, visor ratchet mechanisms, and integrated sun shield systems.
  • Material Defects: Protection against structural flaws or internal hardware failures that were present from the factory at the time of the original purchase.
  • Chinstrap Fasteners: Coverage for defects in the chinstrap webbing and the metal Micrometric or Double-D ring fastening hardware under normal use.

What is NOT covered under the LS2 Warranty?

  • Impact and Accidental Damage: The warranty does not cover helmets that have been dropped, involved in a crash, or subjected to any impact, as the liner is designed to manage energy by deforming once.
  • Environmental Damage: Malfunctions caused by exposure to extreme heat, corrosive chemicals, or the use of improper cleaning agents that can degrade the shell or interior materials.
  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches on the face shield, natural compression of the interior comfort foam over time, and minor chips in the paint caused by road debris.
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Any painting, drilling, or modification of the shell or liner by a third party will immediately render the warranty null and void.
