GhostBed requires the original purchaser to register the Product within 30 days of purchase to validate the warranty. This ensures the support team can link your specific unit to its production batch and verify it was purchased through an authorized dealer.

  • You should have your Order Number and a digital copy of your Original Store Receipt ready for review. Keeping a copy of the receipt is a mechanical necessity for validating your warranty window and price point. Additionally, note that the warranty is non-transferable; coverage terminates immediately if the mattress is sold or given as a gift to a non-original owner.

Step 2:

  • If your mattress has developed a visible indentation or a physical flaw like the foam splitting, it is time to perform a measurement. The warranty is specifically designed to address manufacturing defects, most notably Body Impressions or sags that are greater than 1 inch (or 1.5 inches for certain models) when not caused by an improper foundation.

  • It is important to determine if the failure is a factory defect rather than a result of misuse. Check that your mattress is sitting on a firm, solid surface, such as a GhostBed foundation or a compatible adjustable base using an unsupportive frame or placing the mattress on the floor can void your protection. Keep in mind that normal wear, changes in cooling properties, or personal comfort preferences are excluded from core hardware protection.

Step 3:

  • To resolve a structural failure, you must coordinate with the GhostBed Customer Service team via their official portal or phone line. Because mattresses are large items, the brand typically utilizes a digital diagnostic process where you must provide Photographic Evidence of the defect (using a yardstick to show the depth of a sag) and the mattress tag.

  • Once your claim is submitted, the team will perform a formal assessment. For the first 10 years, if a defect is confirmed, GhostBed will typically repair or replace the mattress, though the owner is responsible for handling and transportation costs. Beyond the 10 year mark, replacements are handled on a Prorated Basis, where the owner pays a percentage of the original price that increases annually.

  • Standard Softening: A normal increase in the softness of the pressure-relieving foam is considered typical wear.
  • Off-Gassing: Standard "new mattress" smells that dissipate after unboxing are not considered defects.
