Ensure you have your Order Number (for online purchases) or a dated Proof of Purchase (physical or digital receipt) from an authorized Bata store in Colombia to validate your claim. Note that the warranty specifically excludes damage caused by normal wear and tear, improper cleaning methods, or using the footwear for activities beyond its intended purpose (e.g., using dress shoes for intense sports).
To initiate the process, you should access the official Bata Colombia (Exchanges and Returns) portal or contact their customer service team. Because Bata manages a wide retail network, providing precise data upfront is the most efficient way to secure a resolution.
You must provide the Product SKU (found on the box or internal tag) and a detailed description of the specific failure. High-quality photographs of the defect are required for assessment. Be sure to include a clear shot of the damaged area, a photo of the overall shoes (including the soles to check wear patterns), and a shot of the internal size tag if available.
If the claim is approved after technical inspection, the company will, at its discretion, repair the item, replace it with a new pair of the same style, or provide a credit voucher if the original is out of stock. In many cases in Colombia, you may be directed to return the physical product to a local Bata store for a hands-on evaluation by the manager.
While submitting your claim, you are highly encouraged to join the Bata Club or create a customer account. This ensures your purchase history is saved for faster technical support and future inquiries. Once the team authorizes a solution, follow the provided instructions carefully to ensure your replacement is processed through the official Colombian logistics network.
