What is covered under the Honda Warranty?

The new vehicle limited warranty commences on the date the vehicle is first used. Honda will repair or replace any part found to be defective in material or workmanship under normal usage within the warranty period. All repairs or replacements carried out under this warranty are provided at no cost. However, the replaced or repaired parts are covered only until the expiration of this New Vehicle Limited Warranty.

  • 3-year or 36000-mile limited warranty on new vehicles

  • 5-year limited warranty on rust perforation

  • 8-year or 100000-mile limited warranty on high voltage battery capacity

What is NOT covered under the Honda Warranty?

The warranty becomes null and void if any part or accessory fails due to various reasons, including abuse, misuse, accidental damage, or acts of nature, as well as improper installation or maintenance. Additionally, failure may occur due to a low fluid level the use of fluid not specified by Honda, or if a non-original part of inferior quality is installed. Usage of the vehicle in competitive or racing events, improper fueling procedures, or the installation of a part not designed for that year and model of Honda automobile can also render the warranty void. Furthermore, any vehicle with an altered odometer, making it impossible to determine the actual mileage, or any failure caused by unauthorized modifications or accessories not approved by Honda, will not be covered. Incidental expenses or inconveniences incurred due to the loss of vehicle use are also excluded from the warranty coverage.
